Throughout the third quarter of 2022, the top Maps and Navigation apps on Android in the United Arab Emirates demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends.

Careem – rides, food & more saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, with a notable peak of approximately 13.4K in the final week of September. Active users for Careem remained relatively stable, varying from around 55.1K to 64.5K, with a slight dip in mid-July.

2GIS: Offline map & navigation experienced a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, hovering between 5.7K and 7.3K. The number of active users showed minor fluctuations, maintaining a range between 39.8K and 43.9K throughout the quarter.
